Ashdown VS Hartke

ive been looking at a amp and cab for a
while now for under 600€.

i have found two Brands that fit the budget

The choices are The Ashdown Toneman 600 EVO III Head with AshdownToneman 410 Deep Cab.

The other choice would be the Hartke LH500 head with Hartke 410 B XL Cab.

I play in a band and our drummer is LITERALLY THE LOUDEST DRUMMER I KNOW,

if had the money i would get a Ampeg SVT head and a 810 Cab.

If this helps My pedals are:
Ampeg SCR DI
Billy Sheehan Signature Drive Deluxe
Tone City Angel Wing
And a TC Electronic Prophet Delay

I play a Jazz bass with fingers and with decent attack.

I play Hard rock and thrash metal dont know If this helps at all.

Im open for more questions.

To me, ashdown and Hartke are different ends of the tone spectrum. Ashdown is very full and round sounding, where Hartke has more bite and attack to it.

I prefer Ashdown, but it sounds like Hartke may be your best bet for your needs.

Forgot to mention my tone is very mid based.

Not sure withone IS More mid heavy.

The Ashdown has more knobs so More tone control???

If you want control over mids then forget the Hartke LH heads. The passive tone stack is very limited. The Hartke HA/AH series however are very flexible with the graphic active EQ section allowing loads of tonal options. The Ashdown Toneman or ABM will also give you way more control over your sound than the Hartke LH heads.
