ASM Hydrasynth

Various applications, mainly things with a lot of motion...pads that sweep through wavetables, very advanced arpeggios, etc. It's very cold sounding, but I love that for certain applications. It's unique.

The polyphonic aftertouch and ribbon make it a great option as a controller. Apparently the more recent Dave Smith/Sequential synths like the Prophet 6 and OB-6 both accept Poly Aftertouch but their built-in keyboards don't transmit it. If you have a Hydrasynth and P6/OB-6 it would allow you to tap into that.
