ATK 305 HELP!!!

I got an old 1995 Ibanez ATK 305 that needs a rear control cavity cover.

Anybody out there with an ATK300 or 305 willing to trace theirs on a piece of paper and mail it to me? I figure I'll make one out of pickguard stock and bam!...

Any help would be appreciated.

Of course if anyone has an old set of these laying around...I'll buy it from ya!

The rear control cavity cover comes in two pieces...the smaller piece being the battery area...

Help me please!

Ibanez doesn't stock these anymore.

I don't understand- why don't you just trace around the cavity lip with some tracing paper (or even regular paper)? You can see through it, and then youre ready to go. Leave a bit of extra room to make sure the fitment is clean and tight, and that way nobody has to trace theirs and mail it to you. It's the same shape either way you trace it!

It's all good!
I'm getting a tracing of the exact cavity panel tonight!

Worry not, my friend!

FWIW. You can goto a trophy shop and get some of the plastic backing/trophy bottoms they use. It's perfect for cavity covers, and probably cheaper than a pick guard. If you're nice they might give you a big enough piece to make it for free.

edit:
I'm curious is this your bass?

That is she.

I ended up getting the tracing of the cavity cover and making a template out of it. I bought some pickguard stock off of STEWMAC.COM and cut out the cavity cover to fit the bass. Now I have the cover and the bass really coming together. The pickguard stock cost about $13.00.

I even made the split in the cover so that the battery section can be accessed alone.

I'm a happy camper. I'll post some pics tonight maybe.

You know you'll have to bring that one with you too this weekend, don't you? :-)
Will you have room for luggage, +GF?
