Double Bass Audition

I'd do the Valse or Chanson Triste by Koussevitzky combined with a fast movement of the Eccles Sonata (I or IV).

A Koussevitzky piece can show off your lyrical, romantic side whereas the Eccles can show your technique and adherence to Baroque style.

It really depends on your level..."youth orchestra audition level" can mean a lot of things. The Marcello and Vivaldi cello are nice, and are mostly in the range you'd be playing in that sort of setting. The Koussevitzky pieces and Eccles go higher. Depends what you're comfortable with.
