Heyy, Basically Im in my second year of a National Diploma in music, I have to do 1 or 2 audition pieces and they have to be perfect by the end of November.
I consider myself to be an intermediate bass player, I am stuck on ideas for possible audition pieces. I'd be really grateful if you guys gave me your suggestions. I have tried Jaco Pastorious, but its out of my leauge.
In short Im looking for two pieces, which are complex/intermediate, the two styles i'm looking for are, Funk Rock like the Chillis and then a more jazzy solo/complex bassline/song. They have to show how well i can groove, how well i can solo and my timing.
