Audix Fusion vs Audix DP vs Shure mics

I'm looking to get a set of drum mics for live music.
I've heard great things about the Audix DP series, but it's a lot more expensive than the Shure or the Audix Fusion.

My question is:
How does the Audix Fusion 7 pack set compare to the Shure Beta 52+sm57 set? Does anyone have experience with the Audix Fusion series?

FWIW:

I had an Fusion 5 pack but didn't use it for drums. Little bass experiment where I ended up using think it was the F10 (whatever the lowest frequency one is) with one of the condensers - but I check out the others (F12 or 15 whatever). For the money pretty tough to beat. For bass the Shur 57 58's were a joke in terms of the frequency response. They say 40 hz but there's like a 12db roll off at that and you have to get up around 150 before they're flat. The Fusion condensers are misleading in that sense too cause they're bass response is about the same even though they say lower (20 Hz to 20 Khz seemed they said). High end they do well.

You could pick out which fusion mic it was from hearing it, they all sounded different by frequency response.

Drummers rave about the Db's but look at the price difference.

I'd just get a set of used Fusion at market price and try them. That's what I did. Move them along if you don't like 'em - or when you're projects done which is what I did.
