Very interested to see results. Most musicians I know claim bassists are usualy tall skinny guys. I'm 6'2" (188cm).

Edit: OP, could you add metric measures to coresponding imperial, for non-US members?

6'0". Tall enough to look you in the eyes while stepping on your toes. And without crossing some insult line, having big hands does help with playing bass. Just a little.

I was 6'3" tall when I started playing. Now at 6'2". I've heard the term "playing your ass off" before, but in my case, as I get over, I'm plaing my spine off.

I also have hand big enough that my Jazz basses have P width necks, so I don't feel cramped.
