I nearly pulled down my B-15 stack at a soundcheck last week. I usually use a wireless, but this was a backup gig where I was 2 feet from my amp the whole night. I had to run across stage to hand someone a chart and forgot I had a cable. Didn't pull it down but I shifted it pretty good. So even though this wasn't with a micro head, I did learn two good ways to keep from pulling down your rig...use a wireless or a longer cord.

I keep my LMII in the MB nylon bag. The flaps have velcro, which when unzippered, attach themselves to the rat fur on the MB 604 cabinet. I can tilt the whole rig back and the head ain't going nowhere.

Duct Tape to the floor.
Long story short. I had mine wrapped thru the handle on the top of my 100lb combo... someone tripped over the cord, pulled the whole thing on its face... jammed the cable into the input... high level and cliping light have been broken ever since.

You dont want it to stay in, break away would be best. Or, later I just used a bit of duct tape at the base and taped the cord to the floor.

Don't ever use duct tape in a musical context. Gaffer's tape FTW!

I like the idea of anchoring the cable at the bottom of the cabinet - its secure in the amp head and if someone trips it will not tip over the whole rig, just move it on the floor
