I recently started playing bass and I loved it more than anything in my life. I was learning fast and couldn't put it down. But then I learned I was playing it the wrong way, I should've been using my fingers and I was using only my thumbs. To prevent anything like this from happening I would like to know if anyone can give me knowledge of the bass that I would have to learn through experience. I'm just pretty much asking for tips for a beginner. I'm a big fan of Blues, Metal, and Death Metal.
