Double Bass Azola Bug Bass II Evaluation

Greetings-

I'm cross-posting this from the electric bass forum to EUB.

Can anyone provide me with a reasonable estimation of value for a late-model (2004, as confirmed by Steve Azola) Azola Bug Bass II in excellent condition ? Some details:

-Pau Ferro fingerboard/maple neck
-Iced Tea Sunburst finish
-Grover Tuners
-Azola 'Tru-Acoustic' piezos
-Tomastik Spirocore Medium Gauge strings
-Professionally set up (Hammond Ashley, Seattle)
-Original padded bag
-Adjustment Tool and Insertable Bout

A picture is included. Thanks for any input.

Over about a 20 year period I had several EUBs including a Bugbass. Everything has gotten more expensive since I was playing them but a quick search seems to confirm my yardstick of a good EUB being worth about the same as a good to exceptional plywood double bass is still valid. Since Azola’s come up for sale so rarely now I’d ballpark yours between $2.5-3.5K. That’s just a guess so it may not be accurate. Please take it with a grain of salt as you should any free internet advice. A lot will probably depend on the setup and how well it plays for whoever is looking.
