B-15N Parts

Ever since I got my first B-15, which was the B-15R, I immediately had the idea to have them make a spare lid panel that I could latch onto the cabinet. I use it all the time, and it really helps. After they did that one, I then commissioned them to do panels for my two vintage B-15N's as well, and I find them invaluable.

Good to know. They have pretty checkered tolex ones at Fliptops.net for $60 or well… I can’t imagine even I would have a tough time making something improvised. (Even though cutting a single rectangle of wood is about as much carpentry as I trust myself with!!)

Yeah, me too. Glad I started that club...there are some real genius types on there. Me, I'm just a fan, but guys like Mark and David Beans-on-toast really know their shizz.

Oh, you have Mark's NEW new latches. His are pretty much the same as what Ampeg uses for the Heritage B-15 and PF cabs, but the hook is a little shorter. Killer latches either way you go, though. But Mark had a Nielsen-Sessions latch before that where he had to get custom made strikes for it. Trying to find the pic I had of them but can't at the moment. Hope I didn't lose it in my hard drive crash earlier this year :(
