B-25 vs. SVT...

I may have a chance to acquire a 70s B-25 head from a mate. In your experience, how does it compare with the full-on 70s SVT glory? What I like in theory is that it isn't quite as loud. I typically run a 4x10 instead of an 8x10, so the output seems about right for the smaller box. Dunno... I haven't plugged in a played through it myself yet, so I'm just asking for thoughts ahead of time. :^)

B-25 is an odd bird with its 16 ohm cab requirement (can be defeated with a dummy plug to use an 8 ohm cab), but it sounds like an Ampeg should.
