Baúm basses

Has anyone played any of the Baúm basses? I've been looking at reviews for both the Nidhogg & Wingman and they are generally very positive! They are awesome looking instruments as well, particularly the Wingman. Anyway, I'm curious if anyone here has played one and what you think.

The Wingman is a real looker alright. I've never heard of these before.

Okay... I really was not impressed with this bass. It doesn't sound anything like the demos. It was like playing a less impressive J bass, where the neck pickup was a little to dark for my liking, and the neck was not impressive.

I did like the fact that it was light weight.

The 20mm string spacing was nice too.

I guess some people will like them.

With how much they advertise on Facebook, I always assumed they must sell some decent number to justify the ads, but then I pretty much never see anyone here or on Reddit or elsewhere talking about them.

I think their basses look really cool.

It's one off those YMMV things. It definitely sounds different in person than a lot of the videos. I compared it to my jazz basses, there wasn't enough of a difference to warrant the cost.

I would probably get one if I could get one of those TB $700 deals. I would be happy with a price range under $1000, new.
