Back for the First Time.

To the bass that is, I played bass for about 8 months.
I have returned to the instrument and need help, my father played multiple instruments (one of which is bass) and my brother plays bass (he also taught me but was a real prick) which drove me to guitar. :bassist:
Well I have returned and I am very serious so any help I can get appreicated like scales or chords, tabs, etc.
Can't wait to begin. :hyper:

The best advice I can give you is turn on your radio to random (music) channel and play along, for at least one hour every day. Even close your eyes while you're doing it, and eventually you'll be able to find the notes on a dark stage. Once you build confidence, start going to jam sessions around town, where you never know who you'll be playing with or what song they'll call. You'll belly-flop a few times, but the experience is priceless.
