Hey, TB crew! Glad I found this amazing resource, and thanks for all of the collective wit and wisdom you’ve all contributed.
I’m about to turn 50 (next year), and moving over to the bass from being a really mediocre drummer. (I found it hard to practice with a wife and dogs, neither of whom enjoyed my playing.) I messed with the bass early in high school, but never really took it too seriously. So the drums are out the door…
…and a Fender Mustang JMJ is on the way, to go with a Rumble 100 I picked up locally on craigslist! I played around with a few different styles, but realized that short scale just fits me best right now.
Looking forward to learning something (mostly) new, and for all the help I’ll get from you guys (and ladies, of course).
