I started playing bass about 15 years ago in high school. I played in a punk rock band, some jazz combos, and the school orchestra. In college and afterwards I played some jazz with friends around town. About 5 or 6 years ago I stopped playing mostly to improve my career skills and try out some other hobbies.
A couple months ago I bought an electric upright bass and now I'm back into it. I was never great at upright, so I came across several topics on this forum as I've run into issues trying to improve. I'm looking forward to learning more and participating in the discussions here!
