Bag for pedalboard and head?

In a sign that I'm actually modernizing with the times, I'm getting away from my rack gear. Most of it will stay with me but relegated to recording use.

I just got a Mesa TT800 (my first, small, class D head) and now I'm wondering, is there a pedalboard/gig bag combo that would have room for the head too? It'd be nice to just have one bag to carry in.

I'm open to the idea of floor/pedalboard mounting the head too. Deepening on how I wind up using the effects loops in this thing it may wind up being fewer cables being run to the cabinets (2 speaker cables instead of 6 cables (2 sets of send/return, channel switch, instrument cable)).

I don't plan on running a huge pedalboard; 8 pedals tops.

Any ideas?

I have aways used a huge gaming laptop backpack with some foam cut to fit thing in there nicely. This sucks due to the top load nature of backpacks.
Recently I have gotten a padded canvas duffle bag. I am lining the bottom with a plastic sheet cut to fit, and gluing foam to this cut to fit my heads. Mybpedalboard and cables fit on top of that. Seems like it is going to be much easier and more protected than the backpack.

I use a Mono medium board and their 2.0 case, and it fits my Genzler 800 head in the side pocket easily. Not sure how you'd go with the Mesa as it looks a bit taller.

Oooooh! Good call. I didn't know Mono made pedalboards.

SKB and Gator do soft cases for mixers, screens, computers, etc. I have a few including one for a 21.5 inch touch screen pc. Measure up your stuff and see...

If I had a board big enough to put a head on it the combined weight and size (not to mention value) would have me moving up to an actual case of some sort. Whether it be a Pelican type or just a roller suitcase with foam added I don't know if I'd want that to be hauled around in a bag without much protection.

My LYT F16 and GK MB500 it in the same Gator 16x16 mixer bag. The pedal.board go in the main compartment and the head fit in the padded accessory pocket. There as room for all my cables in the bag as well.
