Bands with multiple basses

The Cure--on more than one concert video, I've seen a bass player with a Stingray while Robert Smith was playing his Fender Bass VI. I think the other bassist (Simon Gallup?) was playing a more conventional bass role, while Smith played fairly high up on the neck, doing some melodies and solos.

Wasn't there an Earth Day music festival a couple years back with something like 30 guys on the stage playing bass with Spinal Tap? Ah, yes...

Yeah the cool thing with Battlescar is it was their sound check tune that both bands would play, they made the deal that the band going into the studio first got to put it on their record, Max won the honor.

I just thought of another triple bass playing pleasure:
SMV
Stanley Clarke, Marcus Miller, Victor Wooten
Can't go wrong with that lineup either. :)
