It had come up in a (now closed) thread how it is a rule violation to discuss/badmouth banned members. Along with the site overhaul came that rubber stamp looking "banned" avatar pic as an indication of being banned. Of course it was easy for people to just grab that pic and set it as their avatar as a joke, causing some confusion.
I notice now that hijinx has been done away with and it is plain and clear to tell if a member is really banned, so a word of thanks for that.
Q: Safe to assume that red logo avatar pic system is completely gone? Meaning if you see it set as an avatar, you know they're not really banned but rather goofing around, right?
Come to think of it, I haven't noticed that logo in anyone's avatar today, but I assume somebody still could use it, or at least something similair. And no, it won't be me
. Just clarifying that their is no longer a way to "fool" the banned identifier, so no excuse for somebody to violate the rule and say, "well, I couldn't tell".
