ehque, do you have a way to provide us with some clips? I'm right on the fence about whether I want to shell out $360 for one pedal and clips would sure aid in the decision! !

If you can, I'd put in a vote for a nice long clip (or several shorter ones of course) with all sorts of different settings so we can really get a feel for what this thing sounds like!

You'd be our hero!

The grinder's not here yet. And, unfortunately, no i can't record the grinder at home. At least, not in a way which will be representative of the grinder.

I'll try and get some clips in church.

Anyway, i don't think i'll be a very good reviewer either. I have only had at most one of each type of effect so far, and the same is of the Grinder, which is my first envelope filter. So i have nothing to compare it to.

I'll leave it to others to tell me how much i should like this pedal.

It's complicated. I haven't even managed to get a whooshy tone out of it yet, but this is my first envelope filter.

I think this really needs to come with a manual 500 pages thick.

Don't feel disheartened, my understanding is the meatball was designed with a VERY wide range so that it could work with a variety of instruments. As such there are numerous settings that 'do nothing' with any given instrument.

Indeed. It's now working with many of the knobs either dimed or zeroed.

Sounds ok. Certainly not what i expected. Using it as a wah by manually turning some knob sounded good though, just need it to get that sound out normally.

FWIW, it has 3 expression pedal inputs. Decay, blend, and depth.

You'll find the sweet spot for bass soon enough. Pick the lowest frequency peak setting, start with attack at zero, decay around 9 o'clock, and fiddle with the depth and sens knobs.
