Bartolini 9J1-S1 & Delano JMVC4 FE/M2 in a jazz

I picked up a Squier j body for cheap on ebay and when it got here I realized both pickup routes are the same "short" neck length (3-5/8"). I have a set of Bart 9J1 L/S pickups that I was planning to drop in this body, but obviously the longer bridge pickup won't fit. So I was thinking about pairing the Bart neck pickup with a Delano JMVC4 FE/M2 neck pickup that is waiting for my next Warmoth build.

So which pickup should go in which location and why?

I would personally put the Bart in the bridge position due to the awesome low-mid growl that you can get with that pickup. I'm not familiar with Delano pickups, but looking at those huge pole pieces, I'm pretty sure that it would sound pretty good (and punchy) in the neck position.

Once again, I'm not an expert at all, but that's what I would do.
