Bartolini MK4CBC wiring issue

I'm replacing my Bartolini MK1's with the Bartolini MK4CBC's. The MK1's only had 1 wire and a brass plate with a wire on it, the MK4CBC's have 4 wires. I want to run in series only, I have the instructions but I am confused on what goes where now, help!

have you even checked the link I posted?

M

Yes I did, and thanks so much for the link, but I need a little more help. There are 3 places I can solder to on each control knob. And do I still need the brass plates?, sorry, but I am not very adept at this but want to learn, and not just take it to a store everytime I want to modify something.

Thanks!

you can also test the sound using some "test leads" i.e insulated alligator clips with the wire in between. Then you can hear the difference between the parallel/series , and if you have some DPDT switches you can access the single coils as well . Then solder up when you find the sound you like.
