Bartolini Pole Pieces

I noticed today that Bartolini 4 string 9J1's are the same dimensions as the 5 string versions. Could you interchange them, or would the pole pieces not line up properly?

Bartolini's use rails instead of pole pieces, so string spacing is not a concern.

HOWEVER since these are split coil pickups, the split is a concern. If you were to put the 5 string pickup in a 4 string or vice versa, you'd have the split right over a string either way, so no you cannot interchange them.
