I put my Bart preamp back in with different pickups. There's a ground buzz I can't locate but even worse. It works in active mod but not passive. That's a twist for me. Any help

What pickups are you using now? I had an issue like this with an Audere pre. Mine was caused by grounding the pickup shield. The original wiring had the shield grounded, but the Audere didn't like it.
