Baseball neck

I'm looking for a nice, thick (not necessarily wide) necked Precision, like one would find on the Dirnt signature or 51 reissue or Sting signature. In case your wondering, I don't want those said basses for my own reasons.

Any other Precisions fit the bill?

Edit: Extended to any basses with humbucker(s), passive.

The Fender, 50's classic P-bass. ($579.00)

Has big, reissue style neck.

Or a vintage, 57 or 62 reissue P-bass. ($1400.00)

The Hoppus P-bass also has a nice neck, but not as wide, or big,
as the two above.

Taking notes on basses to stay away from LOL Ive got the fingers but have no like for thick baseball necks...guess that means my someday stumbling across a 78 burst Precision isn't worth stumbling across now, eh?

And yea what are the specific differences between the necks on Fender in regards to A D C etc? I know its got to do with width and thickness but what are the widths and thicknesses for each one?

Here's an example:

Thats great!!!!! Looking at that pic and thinking on my basses, I'd say my Cowpoke has a D. I'd hazard a guess and say the foundations and the dyna has D as well. But I think the T40 would be more like C? The VMJ feels D to me. Of course I could be totally wrong in all of this so without specs to double check Im probably sounding dumb LOL I know That Jazz 5er felt like a big fat U...:eyebrow:

Mmm I have no idea really about any of this but I would think for big palms one of the Vs might work out well or a C. And the more I look at the neck shapes I don't think my Dyna is a D? Its narrow and to me thin and seems more rounded in the back then the D. Same with the Foundation4. The Foundation5 is wide, flat and thin.

I understand what you mean about the gap but for me I don't like a lot of thickness in my necks. Width wise I can deal with some width as long as its not thick so I think a U neck is out for me. The D looks good and the medium V actually looks like it would be comfortable as long as its narrow.
