Basic Technique

As a guitarist in bassist clothing I use a pick pretty well but my right hand technique playing with fingers leaves something to be desired... What are your suggestions on the best place to learn such things?

Sitting down with your bass? :roflmao: Sorry. I was in your shoes once. The trick is to learn finger-style guitar first. All kidding aside, start by playing slowly and do it till you are perfect and then up the speed a little. There may be some specific exercises out there for this purpose, but I can’t reference them. Start with single string exercises, then go to single string skips, etc. You are learning to walk, don’t go trying to play basketball right away. Find a teacher if you feel progress is too slow.
