bass amp >300$

Hi, I have been playing for 6 months now and my current amp is a piece of ****. I bought it used off a friend for like 40. It's over 10 year sold and I need a new one, but I am poor.

So, if you could recommend me a good amp under 300$ it would be appreciated.

I am probobly not going to use it for anything besides personal playing and jamming with friends.

if you spend a little more you can get a gk 800rb for around $350 on ebay. you wont be let down. They sound great and plenty of headroom.

don't care about the size, preferable transportable. If it comes down to sacrificing quality for transportability (is that a word lolz) I will take quality.

Kind of want a combo, unless I can get a quality head + cab for 300ish or less.

Check Craigslist in your area and look for a good used Peavey TNT combo. They are built like a tank, a bit heavy, but are loud and in most situations will get the job done.

agreed with the above, peavey combo. tko's work well for most, however they are rather heavy. fenders larger bxr combos are decent as well in that price point (again, heavy).
