Seeking suggestions on places to try higher end basses in NC, other than guitar center of course, any recommendations? Im in the Piedmont triad area..

Bass guitar shops in NC..

No electric bass shops around here; I'm 99% uprights. I'm not opposed to them, it is just that since the day I started gigging on upright 25+ years ago, nobody has asked me to play bass guitar....not one single time....
Doesn't Vera Guitars sell basses? I haven't been in there yet but they're supposed to be a nice local full line music store. Even offer PLEK service. Located by Carowinds at 10420 John Price Rd Ste F, Charlotte, NC 28273 Not sure if they carry any high end stuff though.
If I need a new bass I go to Sweetwater or TB classifieds. Sweetwater has a better return policy LOL. Sometimes to GC but never for higher end stuff. WE here in Charlotte are located in a bass deprived area.

Looking at their online store they don't have anything you won't see in GC.
Is it sad or scary that the place to put my hands on the most interesting stuff is Music Go Round?
