Hi every one,I'm new to this forum.I have played drums for 50 years,and bass off and on for about 30. I have loved all music with deep bass sound.James Jameson,Bob Babbit, and Paul McCartney are my heroes.I also love Rocco Prestia of Tower Of Power.I'm 67 and basically play old school bass is bass.I love Motown,and all genre of music.I usually pick out songs with pretty or hard driving bass lines to play.The instrument can sound so beautifull .I am starting to explore some simple chords,and adding them once in awhile.Love trying new things.I'm not a slap and pop guy.But it does sound pretty cool on some smooth jazz stuff I mess with.Can anyone tell me who played bass on EVERY KIND OF PEOPLE by Robert Palmer.Someone said they thought it was Bob Babbit.That song has such a pretty bass line climbing octaves I love it.Any one know,thanks Honeydorick
