Bass/Nature camp - featuring Fodera

Hey guys -- there is a great opportunity to check out a very special bass camp. It is featuring Fodera, so the luthiers from Fodera and some very special Fodera players will be there. It is scheduled for September 6-11, 2011. This was originally scheduled as exclusively a Fodera camp. Due to the tsunami in Japan, as well as other unforeseen circumstances, we have opened this camp to ALL bass players.

You can really help out by helping to spread the word far and wide to everyone that this camp is still available for registration. All who apply will, most likely, be accepted. Go to VixCamps.com for info and then post everywhere you feel appropriate (craigslist, facebook, twitter, talkbass, and other places.) There are still three camps left for 2011 (listed on the website). This will be a huge help for all of the camps.

Thanks for your help!

This is a great opportunity to learn from Victor. I also heard that Adam Nitti, Steve Bailey, Chuck Rainey, and Anthony Wellington will be teaching there. The cost is $800 for 5 days of bass camp--they even feed you!

I'm signed up for the camp and very excited to go. They need more folks to sign up, though, or the camp will be cancelled.

Cheers,
JAmie

You will learn some amazing things. Victor has some unique ideas and ways of teaching, but spend every minute you can with Anthony and Dave. I'm still absorbing everything I learned in March.

They don't just feed you. They have a master chef feed you. The food is amazing. Even if you see something on the menu that makes you think "I don't like that," try it. John Schopp is amazing. Holly had the best description of the kitchen staff. She pointed to Victor, Chuck, Anthony, etc. and said "what those guys are to bass," then she pointed to the kitchen staff, "those guys are to food." She wasn't exaggerating.
