Bass rig possibilities

When I ran a rack rig, it had a Furman power conditioner with pull out lights, a rack tuner, and a rack drawer. It was rather heavy, but worked great for touring...we used a box truck with a lift gate.

IMHO the best think about the Furman was the lights.

I understand that Furman's use of the term "Power Condition" on some of their products is a overstated. Mine? I call it a power source that came with two very useful lights. LOL!!

You could put velcro on the bottom and use a rack drawer as a pedal board.

I need suggestions for my bass rig besides my amp.

I you look at my avatar pic, that is my seldom used but incredibly great sounding Consists of a Furman power source with very useful lights, Eden Navigator Preamp with more features for plumbing up a rig than you can imagine as well as the best easiest EQ to use I've ever come across, a Sabine tuner ( ok so I was dumpster diving but it is functional), and an Eden WT-1250 stereo power amp that I bought as NOS for 75% of retail.

All in, wired up about 70lbs, which is why it is seldom used, but hands down the best sounding rig I've ever heard. Too bad I never had enough cabs to max it out. The truth is I was playing a lot of outdoor gigs when I put this together and the goal was to add two more cabs, but the gigs outdoor community event gigs went away.

I remember my first gig with this rig. As I was setting it up, our drummer (a 2 time Emmy award winning sound engineer) was looking it over it and remarked "That's the biggest DI I've ever seen!" But after the gig, he said, that is a really good sounding rig and I'm digging your sound.

One last piece of advice, but used gear, and if you can be patient. Do your homework. Know what you want before you buy.

My rack has
1. Furman power conditioner
2. Line 6 wireless
3. Tuner (don’t really use it, but it’s there in case of emergency)
4. GK fusion amp. (Class D power amp with tube preamp. Fits in one rack space )

I should have been clearer. I meant for my 4 space rack in addition to my bass amp.

I broke down my larger wooden Grundorf rack that was just tooooo dang heavy, to just the Pre/Power in a plastic rack,

stuck the Furman (pull-out lights and digital readout) with a head with the on/off switch in the back in another light rack,

and the Korg tuner with a different head which has no on-board tuner in another light rack.

Now everything is used, but nothing is too heavy.

I have no idea what to do with the massive Grundorf 6-space, but it would make a great stand for something really heavy, like a truck or sumfin.

These types of power conditioners typically fail more often than the equipment they are supposed to protect based on my experience.

Wow, I have been using surge protectors since 1989 and never had a problem.
I was not aware of the failure rate, thank you for the advise.
