Bass selection, oh I can't decide o.<

After hearing some testimonies in another topic I'm upgrading to a 5-string.

Zzsounds has basically opened my options due to payment plans to buy a new bass so I'm pretty much able to go as high as $1300 over time for an upgrade.

My options are still open on others as well. These are 20 fretters and I'm curious about the 24 fret options available as well as the benefits of active as I haven't really had much experience with them, cause if 24 frets is the way to go I'll probably just buy this:

I haven't tried one of the Gibson EB basses, but as ugly as they are I have GAS for one. The features are just right.
