BASS SLAPPING FOR LEFTIES

Slap like righties, only use your left hand like they use their right hand and your right hand like their left hand. Glad to be of service. 
^ For standard stringing, that’s pretty much it.
If you play with your strings inverted (as I do, and I believe Lug does as well), then things can possibly be different. I’ve reached out to some phenomenal inverted players via email to pick their brains.
Alvin Mills, Larry Williams and Anthony Corley all said that they play (somewhat) like traditional righties, slapping with the thumb and then moving up to pop with the index/middle fingers.

I didn’t get in touch with him, but Keith Horne appears to play the same way.

I'm a righty but that was my suggestion a long time ago to my brother who is a lefty. He worked it out but decided to stay with piano instead of bass.
