Bass Solo

Hello!
I'm not quite sure if it's the right section but ... Anywasy, I was looking on Youtube for a Basssolo and the firsts... we'll say... 3 pages were only slap or tapping solos (mainly slap).

I'm a punk/Metal bass player, I won't slap, it seems strange for our band ... So . Is it any wellknow solo that uses no Slap and no tapping ?
(The fact is that my bass hasn't enought sustain for tapping )

yes! maxwell murder, axiom, and white knuckle ride are all amazing examples of his soloing ability's.

also look at les claypool, the bass solo section to 'those damned blue collar tweekers' (primus) is pretty sweet.
