Thanks guys!
I'm looking to combine it with overdrive pedal/fuzz. Or with a tremelo pedal. To create some crazy synth sounds!
I love using the GR for synthy tones. It's wetness and tweakability are very helpful too.I use octave>fuzz>envelope filter (Boss OC-2>Wooly Mammoth/EHX Russian Big Muff with gate knob added/ Way Huge Swollen Pickle> 3 leaf GR and I can make a LOT of cool synthy sounds with good tracking.
V-Amp pro Bass. The synth on there tracks extremely well, and produces some amazing synth sounds.
but it was less money than most standalone pedals, and does just as good a job. It's an amazingly versatile pre-amp too...iron ether oxide>3 leaf GR2>EH micro pog = synth goodness. I find I get all the synth sounds I was using with a EH bass micro synth or the multiple effects pedal I was using. The sounds those synth pedals could get that my current configuration can't get I didn't use anyway because they didn't track well.
