Bass through guitar amps (JTM45)

I own an actual bass head but currently am playing into a JTM 45 style head and really digging the tones. I play country folk rock indie Americana stuff. Fender Pbass with flats. Sounds great. Obviously I use bass cabinets. But I definitely found a winner for a lower wattage tube head it’s surprisingly clean. At least at the volumes I play at (relatively quiet) in small clubs, it’s really a nice bass tone. Anyone else playing through a Marshall guitar head? I’m not talking about Lemme distortion. I’m talking cleanish edge of breakup tasteful stuff. Anyone?
I occasionally use the Bugera 1960 which is a 150 watt Marshall 1960 Plexi clone, honestly it sounds really good.

I’ve done this quite often over the years. Works really well in the studio too.

That’s fantastic. I recently put mine on the shelf. I bought an Ampeg PF50T head and was gigging with that mostly the past month. I just plugged my JTM45 back in and I noticed how much I’m missed it. I’m gonna bring it out this weekend. It sounds so sweet
I recently shielded the bottom of the chassis (Mojotone Shield Plate for British 18 and 45 Chassis) and I'm even happier with it (it quieted up the treble channel). It's a fun one.
