Why not write this in E? The instruments were simply tuned down a half step, very common practice. For me, were this a demanding track, doping things out would be easier if written in E with a note regarding tuning ( as you have shown. ) I understand others will breeze thru anything and everything thrown at them, LOL. Love your site and contribute occasionally.

I always write in the original key. I have always played 5 and 6-string basses and never tuned down. I'm just used to doing it this way :)
There's a transposed 4-string tab, though
