I know this is a question re: a relatively rare bass, but I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for basses with Chi-Sonic pickups?
I’ve got a Chi-Sonic equipped Lakland Skyline HoBo (34-inch) inbound that will have Chromes installed. In the past Chromes haven’t been my favorite string, but I’ll definitely give them a try. I’ve really liked the Cobalt flats I’ve got on a Jazz bass (USA Geddy Lee) and wondered how they’d sound with the Chi-Sonic single-coils. Also have a lightly used set of Sadowsky Blue Label flats that I love on my LB-100, so that’s an option, too.
Any experiences, suggestions are most appreciated. Thx!
