My other half flying through the trees. fast flowy undulating single track. classic northwest riding. We'd just descended about 500' in a bowl of tight twisty's interspersed with very fast cross hill descent. and climbed 150 out to this portion of the trail. Damn this is a fun trail!

Nice. Good to see some of the old guard still in the saddle. El Gecko!! Love it, brother! Good to see you're still riding.

Love this thread. Been riding a lot lately. Weather has been great and coincidentally working from home has given me more flexibility finding the time to hit the dirt. This is from a ride I did a couple weeks ago in Wildwood Park, CA.

We have a lot of up and down, but it's all short, steep and technical. No big elevation changes (4-500 feet max)Also no place for SS unless you're a masochist. :D

Here's a little video of me riding the entry filter of a trail I built. Short, steep and techy.

Can you guys see this? It's saying I can't view it but it's my own video... lol

So......this spring I read about something called 'monster cross'.
Well, go big or go home I guess.

The brifters are TRP Hylex brakes with a bar-end shifter bolted to the lever by Adam Clement of Gevenalle. One of only a few ways to get a mtb. rear derailleur to play nice with integrated brake/shifter levers.
They work great, takes about 3min to get used to not trying to push the brake lever sideways.
For those curious my tire width over the years has kept pace with the width of my ass so I can't get any bigger now.
