Basses around the house

Since sightings of them are so rare, where does the Ritter sit in this rotation, what's it like living with one ?
I'm not gigging right now so not playing nearly as much as I would like to. The Ritter is an amazing instrument tho. It's in my office area where I spend most of my time during the week so it gets played the most. I honestly feel lucky and privelidged just to be able to play it. One of those basses that I fell in love with immediately and it keeps getting better.

Where abouts in New Orleans are you located? :D
In the middle of the city ..with a robust alarm system and a hyperactive dog. Anyone who comes near needs to be careful she might lick them to death!

One of my COVID lockdown goals was to get some updated pics of my basses. I've been surprisingly busy and haven't had a chance to gather them together, but another post got me thinking - I have basses and amps all over the house to make practice easier. I rotate the basses a few times a month so I play all of them. I thought I'd do some shots of them in their natural habitats ...

1st pic is in the jam room
L>R BSX EURB, (ignore the Ibanez), Fodera Monarch Deluxe, 72 Jazz, Sadowsky NYC Will Lee, Fender CS Custom Classic, F Bass BNF6

2nd pic is in the living room
64 Fender Jazz, Sadowsky NYC 4, Sadowsky NYC 5, 82 Fender Jazz, Fender Masterbuilt 66 Fretless

3rd pic is the bedroom
USA Guild Pilot, 95 Warwick Thumb BO, Sadowsky NYC 5, 74 Fender Jazz, 93 Warwick Thumb BO Fretless, Zon Sonus fretless (piccolo with Hipshots)

4th pic is my office

Not pictured: Fender King man acoustic and 84 Fender Jazz Bass Special
What’s the yellow-ish one after the U bass ? Is that the ‘Ritter Classic’?
Not familiar with that brand.
Very nice.

The volute on the neck at the headstock from the camera angle looks really beefy. Is it really or is that just the camera angle making it look that way?

24 basses?

Gee-zuz man, I worked my ass off to get 2 basses! What would you estimate is the value of your collection, if you want to share that....my God, there are some high end basses there....

I only have two, and one is on loan to my son on the west coast and don’t expect it back until Christmas. In the meanwhile, the one I have is in my music room.

That's the Ritter. It's the camera angle. It's actually pretty small. It's a great playing bass!!

And yeah -24!

I worked my ass off too!!! Lol Took me a long time and lots of blood, sweat, and years! I'm also fortunate enough to have an incredible and amazingly supportive wife who not only tolerates my basses but really encourages me. And she's really hot as well!! As far as value goes, I'm not overly sure, but I do have to update my insurance so I'll have to figure it out.
