Does anyone have some suggestions of bassists that use harmonics quite often in their songs? I've heard "Portrait of Tracy" and "Continuum" by Jaco, and Vics version of "Amazing Grace" but I want MORE!!!

I dont know any who use them often, but Cliff Burton used them in the Anathesia solo.

I have listened to one Billy Sheehan solo (I hate his style) and he used a lot of harmonics.

Hellmut Hattler of Kraan and Tab Two fame, plays a lot of harmonic chords, one of the few cool pick players.

TB's very own Michael Manring makes extensive use of harmonics.

I don't think I have ever heard something with Steve Bailey on it that wasn't laden with harmonics.

Another vote for Steve Bailey......I can't think of another player who has such a commanding use of harmonics. He can play ANYTHING with harmonics...great technique, awesome guy.

Maybe on the new album? I can't remember him using any on the first one.

I dislike that guy. His facial expressions annoy me, like in the Smooth Criminal video.

Gallien Krueger for the last 12 years!
Mark Adams from Slave used them during his bass solo in "Slide" in '77. The bassist from Swing Out Sister uses them often. He has a sweet Wal tone.
