Bassists who grill?

Check this out,
I like to re-purpose things. This is a grill I made out of a Holland gas grill. The difference between this brand and others is how the lid seals to the body all the way around. Most grills have the big opening in the back and you can not control the charcoal burn if you try to convert to charcoal. It’s all stainless steel, aluminum stand.

Got it smoking some butts today!! Will be ready this evening. Smoke them to 170 degrees, wrap tight in foil, back on the grill to 205 degrees! Perfect!!

I play bass and grill/smoke
Yesterday I made beef jerky and cold smoked some bar cheese, butter and cream cheese.

I have:
Camp Chef XXL vertical smoker
Camp Chef XT
Weber 22 inch Kettle*
Weber SmokeFire, the big one*
I use smoke tubes for extra smokiness...

*The Webers were given to me by a friend that was moving....

Speaking of a Blackstone, I really don't need another cooking implement on the back patio, but I would occasionally like a griddle. Have any of you had experience with a griddle insert on a Weber grill? Either a real Weber part or third party?

Yep. We have the Weber tall sided cast iron plancha on a Weber summit series. It gets a ton of use. We also have the short sided one. Almost never used.

6:45AM ! Meat is in the grill. How about my other bass brothers? My grill is a repurposed Holland grill! I had the 200 lb offset smoker but I sold it when we moved plus I had a hard time moving it around. I wanted something lighter! The holland grill is stainless and seals all the way around. unlike most other gas grills which have big vents in the back or sides i do an offset cook. Plenty of pecan chips for the first couple of hours Holds temp at 250 without much effort show us what you got going on!
