Bassists who plays on his shoulder

I remember seeing this bassist on youtube years ago jamming with other bassists and he played his bass on his shoulder kinda like a violin and upside downish, i just dont remember his name

Quintin Berry used to play in bar bands around here...1st time seeing him, I thought he was just messing around (his band, the Mike Latham Band, was playing something by Sponge).
Next, they played "What Would You Say" by The DMB. Pretty busy/active line...and he played the **** outta it.
Guess he was not fooling around.

I totally forgot about this. I saw them play in boston like 20 years ago and remember him playing upside down like that-killing it. Great bar band.

So did Leon Wilkerson of Lynrd Skynrd. I seem to remember reading that he did it keep a straighter left wrist to ease the effects of chronic overuse injury.

Not exactly sure why I like that... but I did. I suspect it was the fact that the singer/organist is FEELING that song in half time while the drummer and bassist are smokin. Dichotomy at its finest.

...I first heard The Peddlers from a Breaking Bad cooking montage (song used was their cover of "On A Clear Day").

Truthfully, I thought they were a new band playing in a retro style.
Blew my mind that they are from the '60s.
