Bassman 800 or Rumble 800?

I can’t decide whether to get the bassman 800, bassman 500 or the bassman 100T!!!

i used to own a fender 100T and it was great. Regret selling it.

with the bassman 800 get close or will it just not have that sweet presence of all tubeness?

I bought a used Bassman 800 and the overdrive is really nice. I found the bottom end of the amp lacking. Simple solution was to add a Basswitch Sonic Spark. Now I'm digging it.

I just found a used 100T and will see if it has more bottom than the 800. I will post my results.

Bottom end lacking even when pulling the bass knob on the vintage channel?

and even on the drive channel??

what other amp do you compare it to for that “lack” of bottom end?

Sorry for the late reply. The 100T definitely has more bottom end than the 800. It's not that heavy either. I kinda went nuts and found a used Super Bassman 300. It was just as great. But after having all three. I kept the 800 for rehearsals and the 100T for live gigs. Definitely loud enough. I decided to let the Super Bassman go as it turned out the 100T was enough for my live needs.
