Basson B410B with Mesa M6?

Would this be a wise choice for my mesa?

I need more lows and assurance that I wont get clipping or farting

+1. Like the Acmes, these cabinets needs TONS fo clean power to do their thing correctly. They wont sound bad if you underpower them, but they sound damn good with 1200 watts! Then there's the weight issue.....

If you're looking for that type of sound try investigating the Acmes, and the Genz Uber...

Mesa cabs seem to do good with Mesa heads. I'd check out one of those.

I like Bassons, but if have to have a very high-powered head to make it have those ball-busting lows.

Yup - a PH 610 will easily produce more lows than you'll be able to use on stage without causing problems with the PA... I know this from 1st hand experience...
