ok i've reading some things on this, and i'm really cnfused, i never actually knew there was a battery in my bass, i know i know i should know but....anyway i figure its time i learn about this. how long does it take for your battery to run out and **** and stuff lol

Depends on how much you leave them plugged in (playing or not). I have 5 basses that I use in rotation, so batteries will last me 6 months. You can hear when they start to go bad.

one more thing you should know, not all basses have batteries

and if you do have an active bass, leave it unplugged, as leaving it plugged in wastes battery
