Battery fit in jazz bass?

you could always get a battery cavity routed under the pickguard, especially if you're installing an 18V system.

the american standards have a big hole around the neck pickup, so it's not like you'd ever want to run it with no pickguard like you can with vintage jazz basses.

also, putting the battery under the pickguard means that it's not stuffed in the control cavity where you risk breaking a critical wire every time you change it.
