Hey Guys and Gals,

Up for grabs is my BC Rich Warlock Neck-through 4-banger in P/P configuration. This is what I believe to be one that was supposed to be a Japan market release only, as it has the metal truss rod and control cavity covers.

The bad: I purchased this bass in its current condition. The black binding that you see is not actual binding, but was the original black paint, which was sanded and now has a matte finish. The paint is not a glitter rock white, and looks to be a decent job, but definitely not pro caliber. A couple of paint chips on the lower and upper bouts, plus one on the headstock. In addition, there is some black staining on the paint on the headstock, perhaps from a guitar hanger? Lastly, a small hairline finish crack (?) near the E-string tuning machine on the back. The Warlock/active circuit is not currently hooked up. She is wired passively. All the goodies look to be intact in the control cavity, and my goal was to have the entire bass stripped and refinished, then sent off to Neal Moser for electronics work. Alas, this has not been a priority and with newly acquired gear, will likely not happen for a while.

The good: Great tonal versatility from the current passive set up. Neck is P-bass heft, feels nice and round in your palm. Frets have much life left. Have had no issues with the truss rod, and the action is set decently low. Attitude for days, plus look at that reverse headstock!

I think that's pretty much it. It will ship in a vintage BC Rich hardshell case/

Asking $795 plus actual shipping to your zip code. Paypal accepted.

Another observation...the control cavity has a small piece of wood missing on one of the screws, and as such, can't hold a screw in place. You can see this on the last picture at the 12 o'clock position. Full disclosure, y'know!

Delayed action *bump*. Yes, this bass is still for sale. As mentioned, it was a Japan market only release.
