BCB-30 What 3 pedals?

Ok so you've got a brand new Boss BCB-30 what 3 compacts are you going to load it with?

To get the ball rolling I'm off to my gig tonight with:

TU-2
SYB-3 (for the t-wah)
BB-1X (as a DI)

I don't have a BCB-30, but if I did, I'd go all Boss: tuner > limiter > bass driver, the tuner being the powersource.

If I were to go all Boss, I'd definitely do a BF-2 & OC-2 and then I'd have decide between the DM-2 and the FZ-2, depending on what my mood/goal was.

A common misconception. The tuner is never the power source....the power supply is. All that the dc out socket does on some tuner pedals is exactly the same as a daisy chain does. So your results are no different (and frankly no more convenient) than a daisy chain. The dc out socket is an almost pointless feature that is included in tuner pedals only to fuel this misconception.

Thanks for the replys, I was really hoping for answers using all Boss pedals. The reason I asked is because I can never decide on Just 3. This is all purely hypothetical anyway.

Incidentally the 3 I took to my gig the other day worked out great, perhaps I'll start using the BCB-30 more.

In fact, today I managed to add a Mooer Triangle Buff in the small space left in the upper left corner of my BCB-30...
So now I have 4 pedals to go

My #1 BCB-3 that goes to all practices and gigs includes:

• Boss TU-3
• MXR M81 Bass Preamp
• MXR M87 Bass Compressor

My #2 BCB-3 contains the rest.

if i'd only use boss pedals: bass driver, oc-3, bf-3

When I go to band practice I just bring my BCB-30 with a TU-2, GEB-7 and ODB-3. If I'm at home I put a BF-3, CEB-5 and DD-6 in the BCB-30 and plug it into the effects loop of my amp. Then I have my bass plugged into the TU-2 in front of a BCB-6 with an LMB-3, GEB-7, OC-3, SYB-5, AW-3 and ODB-3, followed by an NS-2 into my amp. I was thinking about getting another BCB-30 and one more pedal, maybe a FZ-5, so none of my Boss pedals ever have to touch the floor.
