Actually, Im getting one of JGR's rock preamps which will make all of this thought very pointless but, Im curious anyway. Im going to try the leeds pedal first and blend the two channels on my shuttle 12.0.

The other thing you need to consider whether using our pedals or another company's products is that when you plug a pedal like the BDDI into your bass amp you are already stacking EQ's. Many times when people think the mids are too scooped it's because the amp they are playing is set up that way and the pedal accentuates that EQ curve. Most amps are anything but flat. If you're amp has an effects loop try to plug the pedal in the effects return of your amp and you will get a better idea about the actual tone of the pedal. Sometimes you need to set your amp a little more neutral in order to use pedals like the BDDI more effectively.

Thats a good point for some people to know. I personally have my amps eq pretty flat with slightly boosted mids. The amp is ruler flat when set flat. I got your Leeds pedal Yesterday and love it. I'd really like to see a buffered blend on your character pedals like the BDDI though. That is just the best option IMO. Again, I love your products, just making suggestions. Thanks

Back when I had one of these I ran it clean with a Tubescreamer in front, the mid boost and lack of low end made my BDDI almost usable.
